Dating back to the 2nd century AD, the catacombs are known for their unique blend of Roman, Greek, and Egyptian styles. You’ll be amazed at the intricate carvings depicting scenes from mythology and everyday life. 

Pompeii Pillar, a magnificent granite column standing almost 30 meters (100ft) tall. Erected in 297 AD in honor of Emperor Diocletian, the pillar is one of the largest monolithic columns ever built and is set on a stone base 25 feet square and 15 feet high.

Next, you will visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, one of the tour highlights, where you can enjoy magical views and the freshest air in Egypt. Built during the 14th century by Sultan Qaitbey, this picturesque fortress was designed to defend Alexandria from the advances of the Ottoman Empire.

Your tour will then take you to the Alexandria Library, a modern library and cultural center that commemorates the original Library of Alexandria. Designed by Norwegian architectural firm Snohetta, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina was completed in 2002 and is a stunning example of contemporary architecture.

Your journey will continue to the district of Kom El Dekka, where you will discover the Roman Theatre, built in the 4th century and in use for three centuries before being discovered in 1960.
