Your Alexandria luxury VIP tour from Cairo will begin with a warm welcome from your Egyptologist guide in the hotel lobby at your preferred pick-up time, which we recommend to be between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. Your luxury car will be waiting for you with an expert driver who will transfer you to Alexandria in style and comfort.
Upon arrival in Alexandria, our local representative will be waiting for you with all-inclusive tickets and fast entrance assistance for all the sights. You will have the opportunity to explore the mightiest achievements of the Greco-Roman empires, the Old Islamic Mamluks, and the Ottoman empires, all while experiencing a lifetime of memories.
As you drive through the city, your guide will show you the main squares of downtown, which we call the capital of memories. You will also have the chance to visit the oldest bars in Alexandria, dating back to Colonial times. It is optional to go inside one of the bars, but we highly recommend it for a truly authentic experience.
Your first stop will be at the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa These ancient underground tombs are a fascinating sight to behold and offer glimpses into the rich history and architectural prowess of the region. Dating back to the 2nd century AD, the catacombs are known for their unique blend of Roman, Greek, and Egyptian styles. You’ll be amazed at the intricate carvings depicting scenes from mythology and everyday life.
Pompeii Pillar, a magnificent granite column standing almost 30 meters (100ft) tall. Erected in 297 AD in honor of Emperor Diocletian, the pillar is one of the largest monolithic columns ever built and is set on a stone base 25 feet square and 15 feet high.
Next, you will visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, one of the tour highlights, where you can enjoy magical views and the freshest air in Egypt. Built during the 14th century by Sultan Qaitbey, this picturesque fortress was designed to defend Alexandria from the advances of the Ottoman Empire.
Your tour will then take you to the Alexandria Library, a modern library and cultural center that commemorates the original Library of Alexandria. Designed by Norwegian architectural firm Snohetta, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina was completed in 2002 and is a stunning example of contemporary architecture.
Your journey will continue to the district of Kom El Dekka, where you will discover the Roman Theatre, built in the 4th century and in use for three centuries before being discovered in 1960.
After a day of exploring, you will be treated to a special seafood lunch at one of the best fresh seafood restaurants in Alexandria, which will be prepared for you anytime after 12:00 pm.

Started with an on time arrival at our location on the Corniche followed by an exceptionally well planned day seeing the highlights in Alexandria. Really knowledgeable about history and answered all our questions at the sites we visited and even sights we didn’t. He took us to places we would have never found in our own and shared very specific details from various scholars and archaeologists. Our Seafood lunch was very tasty and a nice time to relax.
