Experience the historical significance of Al Alamein with our private day tour from Alexandria. Your knowledgeable guide from Cairo Private Tours will pick you up from your hotel in Alexandria and begin your journey with us.
As we travel west along the coastal road to Al Alamein, we will visit the Military Museum, which showcases an impressive collection of weapons, military garb, and tanks. The museum also features detailed descriptions of the actions of Montgomery, Rommel, and other notable figures who participated in the battle.
After the museum, we will take a lunch break before continuing to visit the World War II Cemeteries. Located on a small peninsula overlooking the sea, the citadel-like cemetery is the final resting place for Commonwealth, Greek, Italian, and German soldiers.
As the tour comes to an end, we will stop for lunch and some relaxation time before returning to your hotel in Alexandria. Started with an on time arrival at our location on the Corniche followed by an exceptionally well planned day seeing the highlights in Alexandria. Really knowledgeable about history and answered all our questions at the sites we visited and even sights we didn’t. He took us to places we would have never found in our own and shared very specific details from various scholars and archaeologists. Our Seafood lunch was very tasty and a nice time to relax. Comfortable vehicle and he always found good parking. I will be recommending Tarek to all my friends!
