Embark on a unique experience with a special pre-opening visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest museum in the world. While currently only partially open, this exclusive opportunity is perfect for those fascinated by ancient Egypt.
Upon entering the museum, you will be captivated by the grand facade adorned with hieroglyphs, cartouches, and a hanging obelisk. The majestic statue of King Ramses II serves as a welcoming sight within the museum.
The Museum lobby showcases other remarkable masterpieces, including the Ptolemaic King and Queen exhibits, as well as the Victory Column of King Merenptah.
As you ascend the Grand stairs, you will encounter approximately 65 statues depicting kings, queens, and ancient Egyptian Gods from the old, middle, and new kingdoms.
During your tour at the Grand Egyptian Museum, you will be treated to an immersive exhibition showcasing King Tutankhamun.
The tour will then proceed with a visit to the Great Giza pyramids. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore the Great Pyramid of Giza, belonging to Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Delve into the history behind the Pyramid of Chephren, built by Khufu’s son Chephren, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus, constructed of limestone. Your guide will assist you in capturing fantastic photos and provide a panoramic view of the Giza Pyramids. The tour will also include visits to The Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

Started with an on time arrival at our location on the Corniche followed by an exceptionally well planned day seeing the highlights in Alexandria. Really knowledgeable about history and answered all our questions at the sites we visited and even sights we didn’t. He took us to places we would have never found in our own and shared very specific details from various scholars and archaeologists. Our Seafood lunch was very tasty and a nice time to relax. Comfortable vehicle and he always found good parking. I will be recommending Tarek to all my friends!
