Start your All-inclusive Alexandria Private Day Tour from Cairo with a morning Pickup. Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Cairo in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. From there, we will embark on an exciting journey to Alexandria, which takes approximately 3 hours by road.
Upon arrival in Alexandria, we will begin our day tour by visiting the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, the largest Roman cemetery consisting of three levels cut into the rock. This historical site is a must-see for anyone interested in ancient Roman history.
Next, we will make a stop at Pompey’s Pillar, the largest memorial column in Egypt, for a great photo opportunity. After a brief break, we will move on to the Roman Amphitheater, which hosted up to 600 spectators. The audience section of the amphitheater has a diameter of about 33 meters and consists of 13 rows.
We will then proceed to the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was built upon the ruins of the Lighthouse. Here, you will have a chance to take in the stunning sea views and capture some amazing pictures.
The next stop will be the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the most beautiful Islamic monument in Alexandria. Lunch will be optional during the tour.
Next, you will enjoy a delicious seafood lunch where you will enjoy also the amazing sea views of Alexandria from the restaurant.
Our last stop will be the Library of Alexandria, one of the biggest libraries in the world and a great cultural and scientific center. The library boasts vast collections of literature, civilization, the sciences, and the arts that attract scholars from around the world.

Started with an on time arrival at our location on the Corniche followed by an exceptionally well planned day seeing the highlights in Alexandria. Really knowledgeable about history and answered all our questions at the sites we visited and even sights we didn’t. He took us to places we would have never found in our own and shared very specific details from various scholars and archaeologists. Our Seafood lunch was very tasty and a nice time to relax. Comfortable vehicle and he always found good parking. I will be recommending Tarek to all my friends!
