Itinerary

First the tour guide will pick you up  from your hotel lobby, then start your tour with us.

While you are in the car your tour guide will provide a summary about Egypt historical facts.

After that you will enjoy a walking tour through the old streets exploring the Tahrir Square (Midan El-Tahreer), It’s  a modest and central circular plaza in downtown Cairo, wasn’t on most tourists’ radar at all until January 2011 demonstrations and protests brought the square global fame as hundreds of thousands of people covered the area over the course of several weeks, Though major tourist sites—including the popular Egyptian Museum of Antiquities—are located just off the square, Tahrir Square has since become a must-see Cairo site in its own right. People from around the world come to pay homage to this site of modern change.

In a city that is so vibrant and full of life like Cairo, there lays a street that once was the heart of this city.

Talaat Harb Square remains a place that carries tons of stories and a destination for numerous authenticity seekers. While walking around the square passing by the once world famous chocolatier Groppi, the very old Greek Café Rich and Cairo’s oldest and biggest bookstore chain Madbouli, you feel like passing through a historical scene, a landmark, a shot in a movie in the 50s.
The great history of Egypt speaks and shows through the magnificent architecture of this square with its famous statue of Talaat Harb himself, Egypt’s leading economist of the early 1900s and founder of Banque Mist in the 1920s.

Al Moez street Enjoy the real taste of Egypt walking tour at one of the oldest streets in Cairo. approximately one kilometer long showing the most of Islamic Cairo. A United Nations study found it to have the greatest concentration of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world. It stretches from Bab Al-Futuh in the north to Bab Zuweila in the south.
The northern part of the street extends from the Al-Hakim Mosque in the north to the Spice Market at Al-Azhar Street and includes the antique markets section, Al-Aqmar Mosque (one of the few extant Fatimid mosques), the Qalawun complex, and several well preserved medieval mansions and palaces.
The southern part extends from the Ghuriya complex to the Bab Zuweila and includes the magnificent Tent Market in the Gamaliya district.

Why can't you miss Cairo walking tour ?

Cairo walk tour is a great activity for those who enjoy the local experience. walk through the streets and squares of Cairo takes you onto paths that would never have been taken.

Downtown Cairo Imagine walking in Midan al-Tahrir one hundred and fifty years ago. What would you see? If it were the end of July, you would probably be in a boat during the annual inundation of the great Nile. It was not until after 1863, when the French-educated Khedive Ismail came to power, that the swampy plains were turned into a complex of modern buildings and boulevards, echoing the architectural style of Paris. Cairo was to have a series of large midans, or squares.

Whether you wander through the labyrinthine streets of Cairo, Walk through Al Azhar square, Al Husain Square or Khan El Khalili, this is one area that will always stimulate the imagination. Located in the heart of al-Qahira, the old walled city, the Khan al-Khalili is now known as the tourist bazaar, the place to go to find treasures and junk, to browse and to bargain, to have  things made just for you or to buy a pharaonic replica . carved in Genuine ebony. But there are more than tourist wares here. Unlike many other Middle Eastern bazaars, this area has always been a place that mixed the commercial, religious, and domestic. Spending an afternoon or a morning here will give you great insight into the fabric of Cairo. allowing you to visit old mosques, shop for antiques or newly made items, explore alleyways, observe people, and enjoy a local meal or a glass of tea.
