In the early morning, your tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel. You will be transferred to Aswan Airport in a private modern car for a brief 30-minute flight to Abu Simbel Airport. Once you arrive, you will begin your journey to the great temples of Abu Simbel, which were built by the mighty Pharaoh Ramses II. These temples are adorned with four massive colossi of the Pharaoh himself.
The Abu Simbel temples in Egypt feature large sculptures of Ramses and his family, with the hands of the colossi alone being longer than an average person’s height. The inner chamber includes statues of gods, and the temple is aligned so that on specific dates, the rising sun illuminates the statues. There is also a smaller temple dedicated to the goddess Hathor, honoring Ramses’ chief wife, Nefertari.

Started with an on time arrival at our location on the Corniche followed by an exceptionally well planned day seeing the highlights in Alexandria. Really knowledgeable about history and answered all our questions at the sites we visited and even sights we didn’t. He took us to places we would have never found in our own and shared very specific details from various scholars and archaeologists. Our Seafood lunch was very tasty and a nice time to relax. Comfortable vehicle and he always found good parking. I will be recommending Tarek to all my friends!
