As you ride in the car traveling to Alexandria, your guide will provide fascinating insights about the road and the day tour of Alexandria.
Alexandria road trip is about two and a half hours.
Once you arrive at Alexandria, you will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, These Roman Catacombs are rock-hewn in three tiers at a depth of 100 feet. They date from the late first and early second century A.D.
Then move to visit the Pompey pillar a colossal granite pillar, 28 m in height, It was erected in 297 A.D In memory of the Roman emperor Diocletian.
Proceed to see the citadel of Qaitbay Located on the site where the Pharos Lighthouse of Alexandria stood, This fort was constructed in the 15th century by Qaitbay. a chance for amazing sea breath and panoramic views of Alexandria.
Then stop at Abu el Abbas Mosque one of the most important Islamic monuments in Alexandria, because of its high minarets and four domes.
Stop for Lunch: During the tour, you have a great chance to have a great seafood lunch included.

Started with an on time arrival at our location on the Corniche followed by an exceptionally well planned day seeing the highlights in Alexandria. Really knowledgeable about history and answered all our questions at the sites we visited and even sights we didn’t. He took us to places we would have never found in our own and shared very specific details from various scholars and archaeologists. Our Seafood lunch was very tasty and a nice time to relax. Comfortable vehicle and he always found good parking. I will be recommending Tarek to all my friends!
